Tip of the week – Brightwork maintenance

Probably the biggest investment you have made in accessories for your boat is your T top or tower. These are probably made out of anodized aluminum. Salt water is the most caustic liquid to attack your finish. Always thoroughly rinse your brightwork when you come back from boating with plenty of fresh water. Always keep acids away from your aluminum, as these will etch the finish. Keep a coat of protectant on the finish for long lasting protection such as Rupp Aluma-guard or Woody Wax.
This will keep that resale value high!
